Birthday outfits for F

A long time ago (like May! I'm so embarrassed!), I made two outfits for little boy F, who happens to be E and G's only cousin :)

I adore making little boy-boy clothes. They are sooo much fun! Boy clothes can be cute too!

The first outfit is a white onesie with a blue fish, with matching lightweight kneepad pants (F lives in the desert SW!).  Um, did I mention that I love Dana's blog?

I also made F a frog onesie with matching twill pants.  So cutie!

Note: Please ignore the sad quality of my pictures! Taken with almost zero natural light. I'm too snobby to use the flash, which I regret sometimes :)

Scarves

I really liked the look of the "Summer Scarf" that Dana posted on MADE.

I liked it so much that I made a couple for gifts for a coupla special peeps :)

This first one went to my mom:

And the second to my sister-in-law of sorts ;)

Here's my E modeling it...she just had to! That black blob in the picture would be her nametag from storytime ;)

Enjoy, and go make your own!! So easy!

Mother's Day Craftiness...Part One

For Mother's Day this year, I extended my crafty-bentness toward homemade gifts for my mom and mom-in-law.  After much thought, I decided upon the Margaret Bag from Oh, Fransson!

I made a red one, naturally, for my mom using "Vera's Garden" from Robert Kaufman on the outside.  The lining is the gray "Dandelion" from Patty Young's Flora & Fauna line for Michael Miller fabrics.

And a teal one for my mother-in-law using "Falling Leaves" from Michael Miller fabrics.  The lining is the teal "Dandelion" fabric.

They turned out a bit larger than I expected, but fabulous (and fabulously received) all the same!

Another project...sort of!

What with all the birthdays happening at the beginning of the month, I've had little time to craft. I did make another quilt for my sister-in-law for her birthday.

Here's a re-work of a skirt I'd made earlier...and discovered it was MUCH to short for my little girl. I think it's even better than before!

G's Easter pants

G needed some dress pants that would go over his cloth diaper booty. MADE to the rescue...Dana's awesome pants tutorial here.

I like them so much, I made two :)
